Mindbenderz is the collaborative project of Berlin-based artist Matthias Sperlich (aka Cubixx), founder and head of IONO Music, and Swiss producer Philip Guillaume, also known through his projects Motion Drive, Blue Vortex and Rumble Pack.

Combining decades of experience in electronic music production, DJing, label curation and international touring, the duo has developed a distinctive sound that blends progressive psytrance with deep groove, psychedelic atmospheres and refined dancefloor storytelling. Their collaboration was born from a shared passion for pushing sonic boundaries and exploring new dimensions of rhythm, energy and movement.

 

Active in the global psychedelic trance scene for more than two decades, Matthias Sperlich has played a significant role in shaping the modern progressive psytrance sound through both his solo project Cubixx and his work with IONO Music since 2005. Alongside Philip Guillaume’s diverse musical background and production expertise, Mindbenderz delivers a dynamic fusion of experience, creativity and dancefloor functionality.

 

Over the years, Mindbenderz and Cubixx have performed at major festivals and events worldwide, including Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Universo Paralello, Antaris Festival, Fusion Festival, Airbeat One, Indian Spirit Festival, Tribal Gathering Festival and many others across Europe, Asia and South America.
